Piers Morgan loses his head as Arsenal lose to Olympiacos

Piers Morgan was not a happy man on Tuesday night

Piers Morgan launched a scathing attack on Arsene Wenger after Arsenal were beaten 3-2 by Olympiacos in the Champions League group stage at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

Theo Walcott’s low finish cancelled out Felipe Pardo’s opener in north London, before Gunners goalkeeper David Ospina fumbled the ball over the line to hand the visitors the lead heading into half-time.

Alexis Sanchez headed in an equaliser in the 65th minute but, just 59 seconds later, Alfred Finnbogason poked the visitors ahead once again.

The result left Arsenal bottom of Group F and in danger of being eliminated from Arsenal’s elite club competition.

Celebrity fan and Arsenal shareholder Morgan was less than impressed by the display, as the tweets below during the closing stages of the game demonstrate.

Arsenal lost their Champions League opener 2-1 in Dinamo Zagreb earlier this month and still have Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to play twice in the group.
