Piers Morgan reacts to claims Arsenal turned down Anthony Martial

It's not been a good start to the day for Arsenal shareholder Piers Morgan...

Piers Morgan has never been a man to hold back on social media, especially when his beloved Arsenal are involved.

And Friday morning was no exception, as the Arsenal shareholder voiced his discontent at two big stories in the sporting media involving the Gunners.

The first story involved Manchester United signing Anthony Martial, who was reportedly a target for Arsenal but Arsene Wenger opted to turn down the chance to sign him because he viewed him as more of a winger than a striker.

The second involved Jurgen Klopp, who continues to be linked with a possible move to Liverpool amid the speculation surrounding Brendan Rodgers’ future at Anfield.

And Morgan was clearly unhappy about both stories:

Arsenal, who beat Tottenham 2-1 in the League Cup third round on Wednesday night, return to Premier League action when they travel to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners head into the game in fifth place in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Manchester City.
