Tottenham star Harry Kane posts Twitter message after first goal

The Tottenham Hotspur striker reacts to ending his Premier League goal drought

Harry Kane says Tottenham Hotspur showed what they’re capable of after their 4-1 victory over Manchester City at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

The north London side came from behind after Eric Dier levelled following Belgium international Kevin de Bruyne’s opener in north London.

Toby Alderweireld headed Spurs into a lead before Kane opened his Premier League account for the season with a close-range finish.

And Erik Lamela put gloss on the win to lift Tottenham up to fifth place in the table, and Kane took to Twitter to reflect on ending his goal drought.

Kane has scored one goal in seven Premier League appearances for Tottenham this season.

The England international was named the PFA young player of the year after Kane scored 31 goals in 51 games in all competitions last season.
