Watch Aaron Ramsey reveal Arsenal signing’s impressive initiation
The Arsenal midfielder lifts the lid on Petr Cech's rapping skills
Petr Cech appears to be a pretty decent rapper as well as a drummer, according to Aaron Ramsey.
The Czech Republic international moved to the north London side in a £9m deal from Premier League champions Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Cech has made a seamless transition into Arsene Wenger’s side, impressing after an initially shaky debut in a 2-0 defeat by West Ham United.
And Arsenal midfielder Ramsey revealed that Cech performed a special rap for his new team-mates following his controversial move across London.
“Cech did a brilliant rap. He made up this rap and went around each table, rapping about each player on that table,” Ramsey told Copa 90.
“So not only is he a drummer, but he is a rapper.”
Arsenal lost 3-2 to Olympiacos last night after Cech was omitted from Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up.
Theo Walcott cancelled out Felipe Pardo’s opener at Emirates Stadium, before Gunners goalkeeper David Ospina fumbled the ball over the line to hand the visitors the lead heading into half-time.
Alexis Sanchez headed in an equaliser in the 65th minute but Alfred Finnbogason poked the visitors ahead once again just 59 seconds later.
The result left Arsenal bottom of Group F and in danger of being eliminated from Arsenal’s elite club competition ahead of two games against leaders Bayern Munich.
