Bastian Schweinsteiger really is a man of the people.

The World Cup winner has wasted no time winning over Manchester United supporters with his relentless stream of Red Devils-themed social media posts over the past couple of months.

And the 31-year-old midfielder couldn’t disguise his delight after the Germany international helped United move to the top of the Premier League on Saturday for the first time since May 2013 thanks to their 3-0 victory over Sunderland.

But Schweinsteiger still found time in his presumably busy schedule to dedicate a 15-second Instagram message to United’s many Asian fans on Moon Day on Sunday afternoon.

Schweinsteiger posted the above clip and wrote the following caption: “Dear @manchesterunited fans, I would like to wish you a wonderful Moon Festival. I hope all of you have a great time with your family and friends. Enjoy this nice festival and the Mooncake”

The experienced midfielder moved to Old Trafford from German champions Bayern Munich in a £6.7m deal in the summer transfer window.
