Aaron Ramsey reacts to latest Arsenal injury blow
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey says he is gutted to suffer a fresh injury blow
Aaron Ramsey says he is gutted after the Arsenal midfielder suffered an injury during a 2-0 win against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.
The Wales international had to be replaced by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the 57th minute after the 24-year-old midfielder pulled up with a suspected hamstring problem.
Arsenal went on to claim victory thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil in the final 12 minutes at Emirates Stadium in their must-win Champions League game.
While Ramsey was thrilled for his Arsenal team-mates, the Gunners midfielder couldn’t disguise his disappointment to succumb to injury.
Fantastic result for us tonight, we worked so hard for it. Gutted to have to come off but was buzzing watching the lads at the end #AFC

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that Ramsey could be set for a spell on the sidelines following his injury setback.
“He [Ramsey] is alright but very down because he told me that his hamstring is quite a tough one. He is out,” Wenger told his post-match media conference.
The Arsenal boss also admitted that Alexis Sanchez had been struggling with fatigue during the game after a busy few days for Arsenal’s talismanic Chile international.
Ramsey has scored one goal in nine Premier League appearances for the north London side this season.
The Gunners face Everton at The Emirates in the English top flight on Saturday.
