Ander Herrera: I’m very similar to this Man United star
Ander Herrera says that he has a good connection with Juan Mata both on and off the pitch at Manchester United

Ander Herrera says that there are plenty of similarities between himself and Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata.
The Spanish duo have begun to forge a successful understanding on the pitch for Louis van Gaal’s men since their arrivals at Old Trafford but also have a strong connection away from football.
Herrera and Mata played alongside each other at youth level for Spain before both arriving in the Premier League, winning the Uefa Under-21 European Championship together for their country.
And Herrera feels that he has a good understanding with Mata both on and off the pitch.
Herrera told MUTV: “I think we are very similar. We understand football and life in a similar way. We love football but we also love a lot of other things, like the cinema and to read.
“We try to spend time together, also with David [De Gea]. We have a very good Spanish group at United and we are looking forward to the next moments at this club because we have found our place here at United.”
Herrera is currently looking to regain his full fitness after suffering what is believed to be a knee injury in recent weeks.
