Anthony Martial has talked up Manchester United’s chances of winning both the Premier League and Champions League this season.

The Red Devils had been in fine form in the English top flight before last weekend’s 3-0 defeat by Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

That loss left Louis van Gaal’s men third in the top flight table and two points behind early leaders Manchester City.

However, despite the Red Devils’ latest setback, Martial has underlined his belief that United have what it takes to go all the way in the top two competitions this season.

Martial is quoted as saying by Metro: “I think we can win the Premier League and the Champions League this season – both of them.

“We are among the top five clubs (in Europe).”

Martial has enjoyed a sparkling start to his United career since his big-money transfer from Monaco on deadline day last month.

The 19-year-old striker has already scored four goals for his new club and announced himself to the Old Trafford faithful with a stunning strike in the 3-1 win over Liverpool last month.
