Arsenal transfers: Real Madrid starlet’s agent hints at move
Jese Rodriguez's agent admits that his client is keen to secure more regular first-team football
Arsenal have been given a boost in their reported pursuit of Jese Rodriguez after the player’s agent admitted that his client is keen to secure more regular first-team football.
The 22-year-old has only made three appearances for the Spanish club so far this season and has been touted as a possible target for the Gunners and Chelsea in recent months.
Now, the player’s agent Gines Carvajal has conceded that his client could consider his future if he is unable to gain more regular playing time at the Bernabeu.
Agent Carvajal told Marca: “He needs to play more, that’s the best way to keep his spirits up.
“The club will have to make a decision. He’s training well, he’s strong and has to seize the opportunity when it comes.”
Arsenal return to Premier League action looking to build on their victory over Manchester United with a trip to Watford on Saturday evening.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking to return to winning ways after their loss to Southampton and face Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
Arsenal are currently second in the table and two points behind leaders Manchester City.
