Liverpool have confirmed Jurgen Klopp as their new manager.

The 48-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Merseyside outfit on Thursday night ending a week of speculation linking the German with the vacated position.

Liverpool sacked Brendan Rodgers on Sunday evening after a 1-1 draw with Everton in the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.

And Klopp, who quit his role as Borussia Dortmund manager in the summer, becomes Liverpool’s fifth manager in the past five years.
