David Ospina sends message to Arsenal fans ahead of Man United clash

David Ospina had this to say to Arsenal fans on Friday night

David Ospina has taken to social media to thank Arsenal fans for their support and vow to keep working hard after a tough week for the goalkeeper.

The Colombian shot-stopper was widely criticised after his mistake from a corner led to Olympiacos’ second goal during the 3-2 Champions League defeat by the Greek side at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

Arsene Wenger has also been criticised for his decision to play Ospina ahead of first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech for the European clash in midweek.

However, Ospina has now broken his silence on social media to send a message to Gunners fans as the north London side prepare for their crunch Premier League clash with Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Ospina tweeted:

Victory for Arsenal over United would move them level on points with their fierce rivals, who are currently one point clear at the top of the Premier League.

United secured a 3-0 win over Sunderland at Old Trafford last weekend, while Arsenal beat Leicester City 5-2 at the King Power Stadium.
