David Seaman believes that Arsenal’s thrilling 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League shows that Arsene Wenger’s men are capable of beating “anybody”.

The Gunners revived their hopes of reaching the last 16 of Europe’s elite club competition by beating the Bundesliga champions at Emirates Stadium to earn their first win of their group-stage campaign.

Goals from substitute Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil handed the north London side victory in north London.

And Arsenal legend Seaman feels that the victory underlines the north London side’s potential and should give them plenty of optimism heading into the rest of the club’s European fixtures.

Seaman told talkSPORT: “We know what Arsenal are capable of. If they play well, then they can beat anybody.

“They played well in a different way last night but hopefully they will get the chance of going to Olympiacos and needing to get that win.”
