Kevin De Bruyne expressed his delight with his dramatic winner after Manchester City edged to a 2-1 victory over Sevilla in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Citizens looked to be heading for another forgettable European night at Etihad Stadium when Sevilla winger Yevhen Konoplyanka broke the deadlock in the Group D clash.

However, Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony levelled before half-time after Yaya Toure produced a surging run into the box.

And £55m summer signing De Bruyne netted an added time winner to secure a valuable three points for Maneul Pellegrini’s side.

The match-winner was unsurprisingly happy with his strike against the Spanish side:

City captain Vincent Kompany highlighted their belief as the key factor behind their Champions League win:

Injured striker Sergio Aguero, who scored a late winner in their previous game against Borussia Mochengladbach, congratulates his team-mates on achieving their goal:

Pellegrini’s side make the trip to Sevilla in their next Champions League game in early November.
