Alan Tonge has vented his frustration at Manchester United winger Ashley Young’s latest injury blow.

United manager Louis van Gaal confirmed that Young won’t face Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils are short on left-backs after Luke Shaw broke his leg in a 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League last month.

Former United man Tonge posted a cheeky tweet after Van Gaal revealed the 30-year-old would not be fit to face the Toffees.

Young has started just two Premier League games this term, as well as making a further four appearances from the bench.

The England man was part of the United side that suffered an emphatic 3-0 loss to bitter rivals Arsenal in their most-recent Premier League game before the international break.

The Red Devils dropped to third place in the Premier League table following their heavy defeat by the north London side at Emirates Stadium.
