Gary Lineker has stated his belief that Arsenal could win the Premier League title this season after the Gunners scored three second-half goals to beat Swansea City 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The victory, which was Arsenal’s fifth in a row in the top flight, left Arsene Wenger’s men second in the table and level on points with leaders Manchester City.

And England legend Lineker feels that the Gunners should be considered as genuine title contenders this season.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan wasn’t so sure, however:

After a goalless first half at the Liberty Stadium, Olivier Giroud headed Wenger’s men into the lead when he converted Mesut Ozil’s corner in the 49th minute.

The Gunners made it 2-0 shortly after when Laurent Koscielny capitalised on some indecision from Lukasz Fabianski to fire home from close range in the 68th minute.

Joel Campbell then made the points secure when he curled home in the 73rd minute to net his first career Premier League goal for Arsenal.
