Everton and Liverpool shared the spoils in the Merseyside derby after Romelu Lukaku denied the Reds victory at Goodison Park.

Liverpool summer signing Danny Ings gave the visitors a first-half lead thanks to a close-range header from a corner.

However, Emre Can’s poor clearance fell to Lukaku, who finished past his Belgium team-mate Simon Mignolet before half-time.
