Ian Wright has slammed Arsenal’s critics after the Gunners were 2-0 winners against Bayern Munich at The Emirates on Tuesday night.

The north London side kick-started their Champions League campaign with an impressive win against the Bundesliga holders thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil.

Arsene Wenger’s side remain bottom of Group F after the Premier League side started the Champions League season with back-to-back wins against Dynamo Zagreb and Olympiacos.

However, the Gunners are just three points behind leaders Bayern ahead of their return trip to Allianz Arena.

And former Arsenal striker Wright hit out at the Gunners’s naysayers after a memorable night for the north London side.

Arsenal have won their last three games in all competitions, scoring eight goals and keeping three successive clean sheets.
