Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Aaron Ramsey will be sidelined for three to four weeks after the midfielder suffered a hamstring injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in midweek.

The Wales international was substituted midway through the second half with the problem and will now be out of action until late November, Wenger told a news conference at Arsenal’s London Colney training ground on Friday morning.

Ramsey underwent a scan on his leg on Thursday and Wenger has revealed that the 24-year-old will be sidelined for a number of weeks.

As he delivered the latest Arsenal team news, Wenger also confirmed that all of the players who featured against Bayern have recovered well, while Gabriel Paulista is back available for selection after missing both of the Gunners’ last two games.

Wenger said: “After the international break, Ramsey has a chance to be back. [It will be] three to four weeks.

“Everybody else has recovered. Gabriel is back in full training.”

However, the Gunners boss also confirmed that midfielder Mikel Arteta suffered an injury in training on Thursday and will miss Saturday’s game.
