Liverpool recorded their first victory under Jurgen Klopp after Nathaniel Clyne fired the Reds to a 1-0 win against Bournemouth.

The former Southampton full-back finished from close range in the 17th minute after Bournemouth goalkeeper Adam Federici had initially saved Joao Teixeira’s effort.

Liverpool will face Bournemouth’s south coast rivals in the League Cup quarter-finals as Klopp looks to edge closer to the first silverware of his Reds reign.
