Man United transfers: Agent confirms January exit for Red Devils man
Victor Valdes will seek a transfer away from Manchester United in January
Victor Valdes’ agent has confirmed that the goalkeeper will seek a transfer away from Manchester United during the forthcoming January transfer window.
The 33-year-old shot-stopper has not featured for the Red Devils this season after falling out of favour under Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford.
The Spaniard is understood to have had a falling out with the United boss towards the end of last season, and the goalkeeper was linked with a move to Chelsea last month.
Now, the player’s agent has confirmed that the former Barcelona star will be looking to secure a permanent transfer away from the club in the next window.
Agent Gines Carvajal told Radio Marca: “He needs to go to a place he feels is right for him.
“He won’t be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise.
“It is obvious he must leave in January, and we are looking to find a move that he likes.”
Valdes started just one first-team game for the Red Devils last season as Van Gaal’s men finished fourth in the Premier League table.
He is yet to feature this term and has been linked with a possible transfer to Chelsea in recent weeks.
Manchester United return to Premier League action with a trip to Everton after the international break.
