Mario Balotelli ends Twitter silence after Liverpool sack Brendan Rodgers
On-loan Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli takes to Twitter after Brendan Rodgers exit
Mario Balotelli has broken his Twitter silence after Liverpool sacked Brendan Rodgers.
The Italy international struggled to make an impression under the Northern Irishman and was loaned out to AC Milan in the summer after a disappointing 2014/15 campaign at Anfield.
Balotelli appeared to vent his frustrations at the 43-year-old manager at the end of last season after he posted a cryptic message on his Instagram page.
The 25-year-old initially posted a tweet which suggested a return to Liverpool in the future, writing “coming back soon”.
However, Balotelli hurriedly deleted the tweet before uploading another post on his social media account, speaking of his respect for the 18-time English champions.
Liverpool is a good club but the amazing fans and amazing team make it special!YNWA you guys can do it.You don't need help❤️

Balotelli scored his only Premier League goal for Liverpool in a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in March.
The Italy forward, who was omitted from Antonio Conte’s Azzurri squad, joined Liverpool in a £16m deal from Milan in 2014 before he returned to the Serie A side on loan this summer.
