Ozil set up Olivier Giroud’s opener at Emirates Stadium as Arsene Wenger’s men secured victory and moved to the top of the Premier League table.
The Germany playmaker enjoyed some downtime after the game and was out with the One Direction star.
Ozil, who notched up his seventh Premier League assist of the season on Saturday, shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account on Sunday morning at around 4am and wrote: “Me & My Bro”
Arsenal took the lead in the 36th minute when Giroud nodded in Ozil’s fine cross – and Laurent Koscielny made it 2-0 when he headed home in the 38th minute.
Everton pulled one back when Gabriel Paulista deflected Ross Barkley’s effort past Petr Cech before half-time but Arsenal held on for the victory.
Arsenal, who are one point clear at the top ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby, take on Sheffield Wednesday in the League Cup fourth round on Tuesday night.
