Pedro Rodriguez and Loic Remy will both miss Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Dynamo Kyiv on Tuesday night, Jose Mourinho has confirmed.

The Chelsea boss confirmed at a news conference on Tuesday afternoon that the duo would both be missing in midweek due to minor injuries but insisted the problems were not serious.

The news was confirmed on Chelsea’s official Twitter feed:

Chelsea head into Tuesday’s game looking to return to winning ways in the Champions League after their 2-1 loss to FC Porto in their most recent outing.

The west London side returned to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday thanks to a 2-0 win over Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Dynamo have lost just one of their last ten home European games, recording seven wins.

Oscar scored Chelsea’s goal in a 2-1 defeat at FC Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2012-13 group stage, their only previous trip to Ukraine for a competitive game.
