Ozil, Morgan and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal thrash Man United

Mesut Ozil and Piers Morgan both tweet their thoughts as Arsenal thrash Manchester United 3-0 at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal moved up to second place in the Premier League table thanks to an impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners raced into an early lead when Alexis Sanchez flicked home Mesut Ozil’s low cross in the sixth minute.

And the German playmaker added a goal of his own moments later when he stroked in Theo Walcott’s pass.

Sanchez then made it 3-0 with his second of the day when he fired in a long-range effort in the 19th minute.

United improved in the second half but were unable to break down a stubborn Arsenal defence.

The game inevitably prompted plenty of reaction on social media, and here are some of our favourite post-match updates.
