Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to reveal his amazement at some of the fan art sent to him on Instagram.

The Manchester United midfielder has been a regular fixture in Louis van Gaal’s first team since arriving at Old Trafford from Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window.

Schweinsteiger played 75 minutes as Louis van Gaal’s men were held to a goalless draw by local rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

And the Germany international used some of his downtime on Monday evening to take a look at some of the artwork created by some of his fans.

Schweinsteiger posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Amazing #FanArt”
