Emre Can relaxed with his close pal after the Liverpool midfielder trained under the watchful eye of Jurgen Klopp for the first time.

The 22-year-old midfielder returned from international duty with Germany, although the Liverpool star didn’t feature against Republic of Ireland and Georgia.

Klopp was appointed as the new Reds manager last week after he signed a three-year contract with the 18-time English champions following the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.

And Liverpool midfielder Can was snapped with his German friend driving around Melwood after his first session working with compatriot ahead of the trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Can has scored one goal in 35 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside outfit following his move to Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.

The Liverpool midfielder earned his first Germany cap last month after Joachim Low started Can in 3-1 win against Poland in their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
