Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera honours Zaragoza celebration
Ander Herrera has sent a message to first employers on a special day for Zaragoza.
The Spanish city is celebrating Feliz día de la Virgen del Pilar on Monday, which is the name given to the Blessed Virgin Mary for her miraculous appearance in Zaragoza.
Herrera started his career at Real Zaragoza before the midfielder moved to his hometown club Athletic Bilbao in a €7.5m deal in 2011.
The uncapped Spanish midfielder blossomed into a key player of the Basque side, before he completed a reported £29m switch to Manchester United.
And Herrera, who hasn’t made an appearance for the Red Devils since a 4-0 victory over Ipswich Town in the League Cup, posted a Twitter message on Monday.

The 26-year-old moved to the 13-time Premier League champions in a £29m deal from Bilbao in 2014.
Herrera will be hoping to feature for the trip to Goodison Park after the international break.
United are currently third in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City.
