It was a very disappointing week, I want to wish @timkrulofficial all the best and a very good recovery! Keep on fighting and it's important to focus on the next match! by @blinddaley

Daley Blind has taken to social media to reveal his disappointment at the Netherlands’ failure to qualify for Euro 2016.

Blind was unable to help the Oranje from slipping to a defeat by the Czech Republic in midweek as they missed out on a spot at next summer’s tournament in France.

The international break also resulted in goalkeeper Tim Krul suffering a season-ending knee injury.

And Blind was quick to send a message of support to his compatriot after admitting his disappointment at Holland’s failure.

Blind posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “It was a very disappointing week, I want to wish @timkrulofficial all the best and a very good recovery! Keep on fighting and it’s important to focus on the next match!”

United head into Saturday’s clash with Everton looking to return to winning ways after the disappointment of their 3-0 loss to Arsenal in their most recent Premier League outing.

That loss left the Red Devils third in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after eight games of the new campaign.
