Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to urge his Germany team-mates to focus on Euro 2016 after helping his national side book their place at next summer’s tournament in France.

The world champions secured a 2-1 win over Georgia on Sunday night to secure their spot at next year’s tournament.

Goals from Thomas Muller and Max Kruse ensured that the Germans qualified as Group D winners following a largely unconvincing victory.

However, Schweinsteiger is now already looking ahead to next year and helping Joachim Low’s men secure victory at Euro 2016.

The Manchester United midfielder posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Now let’s focus on France.”

Schweinsteiger will be hoping to feature when United return to Premier League action with a trip to Everton next weekend.

The Red Devils are looking to return to winning ways at Goodison Park after the disappointment of their 3-0 loss to Arsenal in their most recent top-flight outing.
