Man United goalkeeper Victor Valdes spends time with his daughter Vera
Victor Valdes has been spending quality time with his young family during the international break.
The Manchester United goalkeeper hasn’t kicked a ball in anger this season after falling out-of-favour under Red Devils manager Louis van Gaal.
Earlier this month, Van Gaal has ordered the goalkeeper to train away from the first-term under the guidance of United’s youth team coaches, with David De Gea and Sergio Romero vying for the number one spot.
With a lack of first-team football under his belt, Valdes didn’t join United team-mate David De Gea on international duty, and instead, the shot stopper chilled out with his young daughter, Vera.
Valdes’s wife Yolanda posted the above snap and wrote on her Instagram page: “She is happy with her dad! And hearts come his eyes when he looks at his little princess ❤️ @ vicvaldes1 #veravaldes”
The 31-year-old goalkeeper moved to United in a free transfer after he left Barcelona in 2014.
Valdes won three Champions League crowns during his career at Camp Nou.
The Red Devils lost 3-0 to bitter rivals Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend.
