Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to reflect on Arsenal’s impressive 3-0 victory over Manchester United at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The north London side raced into an early lead when Alexis Sanchez flicked home Ozil’s low cross in the sixth minute.

And Ozil added a goal of his own moments later when he stroked in Theo Walcott’s pass.

Sanchez then made it 3-0 with his second of the day when he fired in a long-range effort in the 19th minute.

Ozil was clearly thrilled with Arsenal’s impressive display against the Red Devils as they moved up to second place in the Premier League table and just two points behind leaders Manchester City.

The World Cup winner shared the photo above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “What a party at the Emirates today 🎉⚽️🔥 Brilliant team performance. Exactly the right moment to show our skills! #AFCvMUFC #Arsenal #YaGunnersYa #bethedifference”
