Mesut Ozil is in high spirits ahead of Arsenal's trip to Watford on Saturday

Mesut Ozil has taken to social media to urge his followers to stay positive as he and his Arsenal team-mates bid to continue their good domestic form by beating Watford on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners make the short journey to the Vic looking to build on their impressive 3-0 victory over Manchester United in their most recent top-flight outing before the international break.

Ozil, who turned 27 on Thursday, scored one and set up another as Arsene Wenger’s men ran riot against the Red Devils at Emirates Stadium earlier this month.

And the former Real Madrid playmaker is clearly looking forward to this weekend’s clash.

Ozil – Arsenal’s most expensive signing – uploaded the photo above onto his personal Twitter account on Friday afternoon and wrote: “You can let your smile change people, but don’t let people change your smile! 😊
