The Brazilian, who signed for the Reds this summer, played the final 16 minutes as Jurgen Klopp’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Rubin Kazan in the Europa League at Anfield on Thursday night.
Firmino has been out of action due to a back injury in recent weeks and will be hoping to make his Premier League comeback when the Reds host the Saints this weekend.
However, he will be eager to prove himself to new manager Klopp in the coming weeks and months as the 24-year-old looks to make a positive impact at the Merseyside outfit.
Firmino used his personal Instagram account to send a message to his wife Larissa Pereira on Saturday afternoon, posting the picture above on the photo sharing app and writing: “#Iloveyouso much #myLove.”
The Liverpool starlet met Pereira at a nightclub in 2013 and the couple also have a baby daughter together.
Firmino has made six appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League so far this season.
