Bastian Schweinsteiger is looking forward to Sunday's clash in north London

Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to reveal his excitement ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League trip to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Louis van Gaal’s men head to Emirates Stadium this weekend looking to continue their recent fine form and to claim a victory to keep their place at the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from the disappointment of their shock 3-2 loss to Olympiacos at Emirates Stadium in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

And Schweinsteiger, who has featured against Arsenal for Bayern Munich in the past, is looking forward to Sunday’s clash with the Gunners in north London.

The German World Cup winner posted the picture of himself above on his personal Instagram account on Friday afternoon and wrote: “Excited about the big match coming up against Arsenal on Sunday! #mufc”
