Bastian Schweinsteiger has taken to social media to warn CSKA Moscow that Manchester United head into Wednesday’s Champions League clash full of confidence.

The Red Devils take on the Russian outfit looking to secure their second win of the group stage after their triumph over Wolfsburg in their most recent outing;

Louis van Gaal’s men warmed up for clash with a 3-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park at the weekend.

And Schweinsteiger says that the Premier League outfit are in confident mood heading into Wednesday’s showdown in Russia.

The Germany international posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday morning and wrote: “Moscow is playing a strong season so far, but we are well prepared! #UCL #mufc”

United have lost their last three away games in the Champions League proper, although they did win 4-0 at Club Brugge in the play-offs.

The Red Devils, who are third in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester City, have won only one of seven matches, home and away, against Russian opposition.
