Theo Walcott now has his attentions firmly focused on England after helping Arsenal beat Manchester United
Theo Walcott has revealed that he is looking forward to joining up with England for international duty after helping Arsenal beat Manchester United 3-0 at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The forward played 75 minutes as Arsene Wenger’s men wrapped up an impressive victory over their bitter rivals in north London to move up to second place in the Premier League table.
And Walcott, who notched up two assists during the game, posted the picture above from the win on his personal Instagram account on Monday afternoon and wrote: “Very happy with yesterday’s result, now looking forward to meeting up with @england tomorrow”
Walcott has enjoyed a solid start to the season with Arsenal, scoring four goals in all competitions and notching up a total of three assists for his team-mates.
The 26-year-old, who has been deployed as a striker this season, will be expecting to feature for the north London side when they return to Premier League action with a trip to Watford on Saturday 17 October after the international break.
