Ryan Mason has taken to social media to vow to come back stronger as the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder continues his rehabilitation from injury.

The 24-year-old is currently sidelined with a knee problem but has been stepping up his recovery in a bid to regain full fitness as soon as possible.

Mason used his personal Instagram account to post a selfie before heading out onto the Tottenham training pitches to work on his fitness.

And he revealed his excitement ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime.

Mason posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Wrapping up for this mornings session! Then to watch the lads play ! #8 #comingbackstronger #COYS”

A win for the visitors would see Liverpool notch up six consecutive league wins against Tottenham for the first time in their history.

The Merseyside outfit have scored a total of 18 goals and conceded just four in the last five meetings.

They also have an impressive record against Spurs in north London, having scored eight goals on their last two trips to White Hart Lane, winning 5-0 in 2013 and 3-0 last season.

Spurs head into the game one point ahead of Liverpool in the table.
