Francis Coquelin has firmly established himself as a fan favourite at Emirates Stadium since making the Arsenal holding role his own.

And few can question the French midfielder’s commitment to the Arsenal cause after this show of passion during the Gunners’ thrilling 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

While most of his team-mates were celebrating with substitute Olivier Giroud after the striker bundled home to give Arsene Wenger’s men the lead against the Bundesliga champions, Coquelin expressed his delight in the centre circle of the Emirates pitch.

This series of photos from Tuesday’s game shows just how much Coquelin clearly loves Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has started eight Premier League games for the north London club so far this season. He has also featured in all three of the Gunners’ Champions League games, and helped Arsenal beat Chelsea 1-0 to win the Community Shield at Wembley back in August.
