Jurgen Klopp looked to be enjoying himself as he oversaw a Liverpool training session at the Reds’ Melwood training ground this week.

The German coach is gearing up his side for their first Premier League clash under the former Borussia Dortmund boss following his appointment as Brendan Rodgers’ successor last week.

Liverpool take on Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane on Saturday lunchtime as the look to return to winning was following their 1-1 draw with Everton in their most recent outing.

Liverpool head into Saturday’s game in 10th place in the Premier League table and six points behind leaders Manchester City.

Klopp, who left Dortmund at the end of last season, signed a three-year contract with Liverpool last week after he was appointed as Rodgers’ successor just days after the Northern Irishman’s sacking.
