Anthony Martial and Ander Herrera looked in good spirits as Manchester United prepared to jet off to Russia ahead of their Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils are gearing up for their third group-stage clash in Europe’s elite club competition after their games against PSV Eindhoven and Wolfsburg.

And Martial, Herrera and David De Gea looked to be in good spirits as Louis van Gaal’s squad arrived at Manchester airport before their flight to Russia in the early afternoon on Tuesday.

Martial posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote: “Leaving for Moscow.”

Meanwhile, Manchester United shared the snap below on the photo sharing app and added: “@AnderHerrera and @D_DeGeaOfficial are part of #mufc’s 20-man travelling squad for Wednesday’s Champions League clash. Next stop, Moscow!”

United have lost their last three away games in the Champions League proper, although they did win 4-0 at Club Brugge in the play-offs.

The Red Devils, who are third in the Premier League table and two points behind Manchester City, have won only one of seven matches, home and away, against Russian opposition.
