Piers Morgan laments Liverpool’s impressive win over Chelsea
Piers Morgan says Jurgen Klopp's "passion" was the main reason he wanted to see him take charge at Arsenal
Piers Morgan has taken to social media to reveal his frustration at Arsenal’s failure to recruit Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool’s impressive 3-1 win at Chelsea on Saturday.
The Arsenal shareholder and celebrity fan was calling for the north London side to appoint Klopp and replace Arsene Wenger at Emirates Stadium before the German was placed in charge at Anfield.
Liverpool came from a goal down to secure an impressive victory at Stamford Bridge and send Chelsea crashing to their sixth defeat in 11 Premier League games.
And Morgan singled out Klopp’s “passion” for the reason he wanted to see him in charge at Arsenal.
This is why I wanted Klopp at Arsenal. He transforms clubs in such an energising, dynamic way. Love his passion.

Liverpool fell behind in the fourth minute at Stamford Bridge when Cesar Azpilicueta was allowed time and space to cross from the left and Ramires duly headed the Spaniard’s cross home.
However, Liverpool’s positive play was rewarded deep into first-half stoppage time, when Coutinho swiveled on the edge of the box and curled a delightful shot past Asmir Begovic to haul his side level.
The visitors then took the lead in the 74th minute when Coutinho fired home via a small deflection after good play from substitute Christian Benteke.
And Benteke made the three points secure when he fired home low from 18 yards out after poor Chelsea defending.
