Podolski, Frimpong and more: Stars send messages to Arsenal boss
A host of ex-Arsenal stars paid tribute to Arsene Wenger after the Frenchman turned 66 on Thursday
Lukas Podolski and Emmanuel Frimpong were among the ex-Arsenal players to wish Arsene Wenger a happy birthday on social media on Thursday.
The Frenchman turned 66 two days after watching his Arsenal side secure a thrilling 2-0 Champions League victory over Bayern Munich at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.
Former Arsenal forward Podolski was among the players to send a birthday message to the Gunners boss, with Frimpong and ex-midfielder Gilberto Silva also chiming in with their best wishes.

Wenger now turns his attentions to Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday evening. The north London side can move top of the table with victory ahead of Sunday’s Manchester derby at Old Trafford.

Arsenal are currently second in the table and two points behind leaders Manchester City heading into the game with the Toffees in north London.
The Gunners will be without Aaron Ramsey, who has been ruled out of action for at least a month due to a hamstring injury.
