Cafe Football's The Shoulder Tackle

To celebrate rugby coming home, Cafe Football Old Trafford and Cafe Football Stratford have designed a special rugby-themed menu.

With New Zealand set to face rivals Australia in this weekend’s final, rugby fans and revellers can scrum together to enjoy a special edition menu inspired by the game.

Encompassing the true spirit of rugby, the menu boasts classics such as ‘The Shoulder Tackle’ spiced lamb burger, the ‘Scrum Platter’ – with wings, ribs, fritters, sausages and more – an all-day ‘Red Rose’ breakfast and Eton Mess. The menu was devised by two Michelin star chef, Michael Wignall, in conjunction with Cafe Football’s executive chef, Brendan Fyldes.

A range of rugby-inspired drinks can also be enjoyed during each game, including the ‘Black Velvet’ cocktail – a sparkling combination of champagne and Guinness – and buckets of beer to share.

Cafe Football is the place to be for fans who want to be surrounded by the action of the final, while enjoying the finest food and drink on offer.
