Tottenham will keep improving, Hugo Lloris warns Liverpool
Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris runs the rule over Spurs's attacking form
Hugo Lloris has warned Liverpool that there is more to come from Tottenham Hotspur.
Jurgen Klopp takes charge of Liverpool for the first time at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon as the Reds face Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham side.
Spurs are unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games, winning three games and drawing four times, including a resounding 4-1 win against Manchester City.
But Spurs captain Lloris believes Tottenham are capable of being even more prolific in front of goals after having scored just 11 times in eight league games.
Lloris told Tottenham’s website: “If we keep playing the same way with the same attitude then we’re going to win a lot of games.
“If we have to improve on one aspect of our game it’s in front of goal – we have to score more. “It’s not only about one player but all the attacking players – they need to get into the box and be more aggressive with a desire to score.”
The French shot stopper added: “The rest will come, though, if we keep the same attitude and behaviour.”
Lloris has made seven appearances for Tottenham in the English top-flight this season.
The France international has kept three clean sheets in the Premier League this term.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper will be expecting to line up against top-six rivals Liverpool at The Lane in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.
