Arsenal revived their Champions League hopes with a thrilling 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

The pressure was on Arsene Wenger’s side after losing their opening two group games away to Dinamo Zagreb and at home to Olympiacos.

However, the north London side injected some fresh belief into their European campaign with a brilliant win over the Bundesliga champions in north London.

After a goalless first half, substitute Olivier Giroud bundled home in the 77th minute after goalkeeper Manuel Neuer missed Santi Cazorla’s free-kick.

And Mesut Ozil secured the win when the Germany international turned in Hector Bellerin’s cross in stoppage time.

Arsenal’s huge win inevitably prompted plenty of activity on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite post-match updates.
