Louis van Gaal has revealed that both Memphis Depay and James Wilson are injury doubts for Manchester United’s trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Red Devils head to Selhurst Park looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League after their goalless draw with Manchester City last weekend.

Van Gaal has confirmed that both Depay and Wilson picked up knocks during United’s League Cup defeat by Middlesbrough in midweek and would be assessed in the lead-up to Saturday’s game.

The United boss also revealed that Antonio Valencia and Paddy McNair both remain sidelined and will miss Saturday’s trip to Selhurst Park.

The Red Devils confirmed the news via a series of updates on their official Twitter account:

United head into Saturday’s game in fourth place in the Premier League table and two points behind leaders Manchester City after 10 games.

Van Gaal’s men then host West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford next weekend.
