Is it James Bond 007? No - it's Mata. Juan Mata. #SPECTRE

The name’s Mata. Juan Mata.

The Manchester United playmaker is undoubtedly one of the most popular players in the Premier League.

Not only is Mata a fine photographer (take a look at his Instagram snaps), a pretty decent writer on the evidence of his blog, but he is one of Louis van Gaal’s best players.

The 27-year-old has already scored three goals and made three assists in 10 Premier League games, and only Mesut Ozil, Lionel Messi, Franck Ribery and Cristiano Ronaldo have created more goals since 2008.

And the United midfielder has starred in a new video on United’s social media channels, rivalling Daniel Craig on the day that the new James Bond film, Spectre, is released.

In the clip, Mata discusses his £37.1m move to Old Trafford with Ander Herrera, which saw the World Cup winner arrive at the club’s Carrington training ground in a helicopter in January 2013.

“I was in Spain, and I have to say, it was like film. It was like a Hollywood film. You were very, very elegant,” Herrera said.
