Aaron Ramsey has taken to social media to voice his disappointment at not being able to play in Arsenal’s north London derby showdown with Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

The Wales international is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury and will not be back available for selection for the Gunners until after the forthcoming international break.

Ramsey picked up the muscular problem during the 2-0 win over Bayern Munich last month.

However, despite his obvious disappointment at not being able to feature on Sunday, Ramsey vowed to get behind his team-mates as they look to secure the north London bragging rights.

Ramsey tweeted:

Arsenal head into Sunday’s clash in second place in the Premier League table and level on points with leaders Manchester City after 11 games.

The Gunners have won their last five Premier League games, scoring 16 goals and conceding just three. Tottenham have only won once at Arsenal in 25 matches in all competitions since May 1993.
