Andy Gray: Arsenal are best in the Premier League at doing this

Andy Gray backs Arsenal to beat Norwich City

Andy Gray believes Arsenal the best of the big clubs at beating the Premier League’s smaller sides.

The Gunners can move level on points with joint Premier League leaders Manchester City and Leicester City if Arsene Wenger’s side beat newly-promoted Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday.

The north London side suffered a surprise 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, surrendering a winning positions after James Morrison’s equaliser and Mikel Arteta’s own goal.

However, former Aston Villa and Everton striker Gray still has faith in Arsenal’s ability to beat the Premier League’s less-equipped clubs despite last weekend’s hiccup.

“I fancy Arsenal for an away win. Norwich have been doing OK and put in a decent performance against Chelsea last weekend and were a little unlucky to lose,” Gray wrote in his Paddy Power blog.

“The Gunners are the best team for beating sides below them in the league and they can pick up three points here.”

Arsenal were impressive 3-0 winners against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League at Emirates Stadium mid-week.

Wenger’s men will need to beat Olympiacos in their final group-stage game to be assured of a place in the knockout stage.
