Arsenal legend trolls Tottenham fans ahead of north London derby

Ian Wright can't help but poke some fun at Tottenham fans ahead of Sunday's showdown at Arsenal

Ian Wright has taken to social media to poke fun at Tottenham’s supporters as Arsenal prepare to take on their local rivals in Sunday’s derby at Emirates Stadium.

Arsene Wenger’s men welcome the Lilywhites to their home ground as they look to bounce back to winning ways following the disappointment of their 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Bayern Munich in midweek.

Spurs, meanwhile, geared up for the game with a 2-1 win over Anderlecht in the Europa League on Thursday night.

And former Arsenal striker Wright could not help but aim a dig at Spurs fans in the build-up to Sunday’s showdown on Twitter.

Gunners legend Wright tweeted:

Arsenal head into the game in second place in the Premier League table and level on points with Manchester City, who take on Aston Villa on Sunday.

Spurs, meanwhile, are a further five points behind their bitter rivals after 11 games of the new campaign.
